You’re set. Open Netflix.

Or Prime Video. Your 7 free days start the first time you open either one. Everything is unlocked, and there’s nothing to sign up for.

Open Netflix Open Prime Video

Netflix already open? Reload that tab, and Sorted shows you around the page. Ready to keep it? Buy a key, $19 once.

What happens in the first few minutes

All of it runs by itself in the background, and nothing needs you. Carry on browsing and watching while it does.

Ratings
On every card within about a minute, the first time. After that, at once.
Film details
Year, length and genres for each title, in the next few minutes. Filters use them.
Netflix’s library
About two minutes. Sorted reads Netflix’s own category lists so Pick for me can choose from all of Netflix, not just the page in front of you. Nothing opens and nothing scrolls.
Prime Video’s library
About twenty minutes, one page a second so Prime Video is never asked for too much. Leave whenever you like: the next Prime Video page carries on where it stopped.

Four things to try tonight

1IMDb ratings

Point at a rating for its votes and year. Press Shift F, set a lowest rating, and everything under it fades back. Fade on page, at the foot of Filters, turns the fading off again.

2Hidden categories

Press Shift G and type a word, say “thriller”. The category opens ranked by IMDb rating, with its Top 10 on top. Load all and sort ranks the rest of it.

3Pick for me

Press Shift P. Sorted picks one title that fits your filters, with its rating, its length and its language. Next pick for another, then Watch: the intro is skipped for you.

4What you’ve watched

In Filters, under Hide watched (on from the start), press Read my Netflix history: about a minute, and it stays in this browser. Seen it and Not for me on any card or pick do the same for one title.
